Every good manuscript needs a catchy cover to attract people’s attention to it.
The cover art on all my previous novels has been a photograph that I’ve taken, then manipulated, and this one is no exception.
The original photo was significantly brighter than the final cover, but in order to make the text readable, I needed to adjust the contrast.
It is always such a challenge to create cover artwork; this is version fifteen! When I went to bed last night, thinking version ten was the best I could manage, I knew it wasn’t really what I wanted so this morning I was back to the (electronic!) drawing board. I think I’m finally happy with it though!
Here’s a sneak preview of what to expect from the paperback!
