Stay at Home - Save Lives!

When you are ‘shielding’ and have no choice but to stay at home whilst Coronavirus sweeps through the country, it’s quite difficult to stay motivated.

Yesterday was particularly difficult because I was feeling very isolated and lacking inspiration for anything, then a brief conversation with a neighbour, albeit at a distance of around 10 metres, followed by the ‘clap for carer’ initiative last night cheered me up no end.

Today, with little school work needing doing (I don’t feel guilty for only spending a couple of hours on my ‘real’ job today as I’ve calculated that I’ve clocked up over 49 hours of school work since this time last week!), coupled with a burst of inspiration, I decided to write.

I have managed to compose more than 10000 words today, and best of all, around 4000 of those were written sat in glorious sunshine in my garden.

I’ve got the writing bug again today and I can’t wait to carry on writing this weekend. Let’s hope it’s sunny too!

Stay safe everyone!
